Grand Tetons Fall Color Photo Workshop

$2,495
Single Supplement - $300

Flight Destination: Jackson, WY

mount moran and fall color

The most dramatic and recognizable mountain range in the country, Grand Teton National Park offers endless photographic opportunities. Moose are out and about and the fall color should be at peak. Who can go to the Tetons, though, and not capture the great landscapes that can be found around almost every turn of the Teton Range. This trip brings all of this together offering a full array of subjects.

Find new twists to some popular locations that others will not take you to. You will learn to paint with light before sunrise at a couple of tried but true locales as well as shoot one scene from a completely different angle than you've seen before.

With the week offering a new moon, some very different shooting opportunities will also be explored as we'll spend one night exploring angles to capture stars and Milky Way scenes over the mountains and barns.

Not many places can bring together great landscapes and a variety of wildlife like the Tetons. Throughout the park we'll travel to spots to photograph moose, bison and elk. Prime landscape locations include Oxbow Bend, Jenny Lake, String Lake and the Snake River Overlook among others. Barns and cabins will be visited along Mormon Row, Cunningham Cabin and an old building not many people know about that captures a great reflection of the mounts and fall color.

I was fortunate enough to get in late for the Teton workshop and learned something new every day from Andy. He really knows how to find great shots and his workshops are a great value. He is a real workhorse, very fair and has amazing passion. Steve B.
